Should you just leave it if someone is being offensive without knowing they are? I have American friends and they think that because I'm Irish, all I do is drink when I've never even been drunk. They want me to do this thing called an Irish Car Bomb and they don't get that that drink name is offensive considering the amount of deaths that were caused - and occasionally still are - by car bombs in Ireland. The whole leprechaun, diddly aye thing just gets to me but I'm not a POC so not oppressed.
