Safe Havens has a list of animal organizations, organized by state, that will either board your pet for free or find it a foster home while you escape an abuser. The goal is to get the pet safely out of the home. They won’t be with you until you find a new, safe home, but the goal is to eventually reunite pet and owner. (also includes a few UK resources)
